Parkinson’s disease is a complex movement disorder that progresses at an individual pace and affects life in many ways. There is no cure currently, but the symptoms can be controlled quite effectively through exercise, rehabilitation and medication. Patients can maintain a good quality of life for decades after the diagnosis.
